Eleven beachfront villas sit lightly within the coastal landscape, created by the local community and designed in harmony with their surroundings. No trees were felled in their construction; the villas follow the contours of the land with a deliberately light footprint, and are well spaced out from eachother for complete privacy.
Each has its own beachfront sala - a private place to retreat, listen to the ocean and watch the light change across the day. Seven of the villas have private pools, while all offer a sense of space and seclusion, with the beach and wilderness always close by.

Life at Sulula unfolds between the ocean and the wilderness. At the heart of it all, the lodge offers a collection of open, welcoming spaces in which to relax, reconnect and let the day take its own course.
Between beach and bush, the lodge is yours to use as the day suggests. Start at the Lookout, with the beach and the Indian Ocean laid out before you. Spend the afternoon by the main pool or on a beach lounger. Pick up a mask and snorkel at the Watersports Centre, or find a seat at the Beach Bar for the cocktail of the day. The lounge is there for a quiet hour by day and socializing by night, the Gecko Deck for views, and somewhere in between is the corner that becomes your own.
There is no single place to be, and no particular way to spend your time. Just the freedom to move between the beach, the lodge and the wilderness at your own pace.

Casa Kivuli takes its name from the idea of jumping into your own shadow cast by the moon - a playful expression of stepping into your own private world.
Our larger villa, located at the end of the property, it is equally suited to a couple looking for more space or a family travelling with two children.
With generous living space and two bathrooms, Casa Kivuli offers a little more room to spread out, while its own beachfront sala keeps you connected to the sea, the landscape and the life of Sulula.
